Start MP with the green Windows Logon button (2 Viewers)

Hi Guys.

Ok i have a HP Media Center and have the black HP branded remote.

Can anyone help me assign that button so it will open MP? i have had a look at mapping but cant see what this button is called.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately, the application ehtray.exe is what is listening for that Green Button push and its always set to launch Media Center. Of course Microsoft did not make it configurable in the registry. My application Intelliremote lets you completely customize all the functions of your remote buttons and includes instructions on disabling the ehtray.exe application forever. I also have a profile for MediaPortal and you can set the Green Button to launch MediaPortal if you wish. Check it out...

Try MPTray, not guaranteed as this is designed to work as mce green button.

Looks like MPTray doesn't work for Windows Vista Ultimate 64 which is the OS I am using. But thanks for the heads up!
