startup problems after reboot

The tvengine configuration app shows that the requested tv channel is streamed. tv recordings can be watched. Recording such a program gives several entries in recordings, none can be played. Is it a problem that the updated tvguide.xml file contains a tv program that is already in the EPG database? (Every night I bring assies xmltv data via a sceduled task that runs some scripting in tvguide.xml.)</p><p></p><p>4) On my Vista hiome premium mp client I cannot control MP via the keyboard.
