Stop F2 launching config (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know how to stop the F2 button from closing Mediaportal and launching configuration? The remote I'm using has F2 as one of the buttons that I need and it is really annoying when it tries to launch config everytime I press F2.

In sum, you map keyboard strokes to desired action. These commands are "eaten", meaning they will not do what initially was supposed to, like F2 will not shut down and enter config.
