I originally posted this in the Moving Pictures forum but they told me I should post it here:
Running the following:
Windows 7 Utl 64-bit
MediaPortal 1.1.0.0 RC1
MovingPictures 1.04
Everything seems to work up until the time I want to stop playing a movie. At that point, I am presented with the Windows desktop, and a permanently hidden taskbar (except the Start Orb is visible and functioning). If I go into taskbar properties and uncheck the auto-hide checkbox, the taskbar comes back, but I mousing over or clicking the various taskbar items doesn't have any effect (again, with the exception of the start orb). Only a system reboot will fully restore taskbar functionality.
According to Task Manager, MediaPortal is still running. If I play a movie through the standard MediaPortal "My Videos" , stopping the movie brings me back to MediaPortal (as it should).
Am I missing an important setting somewhere?
