Can anyone confirm if the maddening inability to stop recording problems are fixed in the new beta? I mean talk about tenacious! Stopping the TV server, deleting the incomplete recorded files, then manually deleting every reference to that recording i could find in the database, start MediaPortal back up again, and bang...recording. Where is it getting it from!?!?!?

Does 4TheRecord have this problem?

A preliminary scan of the debug log doesn't indicate where the problem is except perhaps comskip has the file locked. I'll need to do more digging there but that doesn't explain why after i delete anything to do with this recording it starts back up again.

Had the same problem in 1.2 alpha constantly.
It has now completely vanished since using the svn's and 1.2 beta.

Thank you for replying. I didn't have good luck with the last beta, but as you've indicated hopefully the future is bright.

In the meantime i'll get the latest stable source and try to see what's going on with this long-standing issue.
