First I want to say that Im impressed of all the things that MP can do.
I'm also one of those how thinks that a few working functions is better than many none working functions.
Since I'm curently using XBMC as my mediaplayer I'm totaly surpriced that the developer of MP have missed the function of streaming compressed rar-filers (.iso, .img) >4 gb. That is one of the most usefull components in the whole media center solution. Don't you agree?
It's so fundamential that I'm interested in lerning how to build my own plugins for MP.
Is it posible to use some code from the XBMC project? Is it the same programming language?
Do you know if someone in the MP team is currently working at such a component?
