I recently got Sky Digital and the box is in my lounge with my HTPC running MediaPortal.
I've got another computer upstairs that I use quite a bit for watching TV which has a Hauppauge Nova-T, so therefore has no analog in. Which means to watch Sky on this computer I'd need to get the MediaPortal computer to stream it over the network.
Does anyone know of a way to do this?
I've looked on the internet a bit but haven't really come up with anything. I'd really like to be able to have mediaportal running while video is being streamed. Even if this isn't possible, I'd require another program to do the streaming but that would have to be able to set up the Nova-T to change to the right channel. I have seen programs that can stream video, but they recompress the video to a really low bit rate, which is unnecessary and also make the video look terrible.
