Streaming Buffer Settings for TV-Plugin (1 Viewer)

I hope that this isnt a feature that i just havn't found, but it would be very helpful if one could set the network buffer for TV-Streams in the TV-Plugin.

Watching TV-Server streams with MP over Wifi is jerky for me. Although i measured that i have an average of 16Mbit even normal PAL TV-Streams have regular freezes. I can play the streams with VLC just fine since i can set the streaming buffer.

So it would be great if i could set the buffer for the TV-Plugin in MP. If this is allready possible, it i was just to dumb to find it, please move the thread, but also tell me how to do it

I'd like to know if there is a buffer setting in general for viewing any file on the LAN. Most of the time viewing videos off my NAS does not stutter at all. But if my work PC is backing up to the NAS at the same time then I get some stuttering.....

Since i'm now a little smarter about the subject and do know that it is currently not possible, i now strongly suggest to make the MyTV streaming buffer a changable stetting. To still have the max. performance for channel switching, it could be a "fall back" setting, that is only used when the buffer is underrun.

I'll donate 15$ again if this finds it's way into the next subversion release
