Hi!
I'm about to build a separate client for tv server. Up to now, I had a single seat config that functioned as a download box as well. I thought I would be better with a dedicated client for TV Server and a download box, while using the client only for playing media and watching digital TV.
The only concern for me is my home network: its a 100Mb with CAT5e on a router, the internet is 60/40, that gives me around 4Mb/sec download. I intend to run as a download box, whit not too much download (but upload is present), and to record TV (HD and SD). I use only one TV card.
I want to be sure that I will be able to stream HD Live TV to my client over the network, I think a 100Mbs router should do the job?
Server will run XP Pro the client Win7.
Server specs: Athlon 1900+, 320GB WD 7200rpm ATA, 637MB RAM, Cinergy PCI C HD card.

Thanx!
