I am running the latest version of mediaportal, with uptodate drivers for all my hardware.

the problem I am having is the following,
in the radio area, I can get it to list my internet stations (pls files)... I can select them, it will have the loading icon, and it will start playing the radio...

but, the GUI at this point will no longer respond to anything I do. even if I press escape or anything, I can actually hear the sounds of the UI clicking as if it is browsing through the menu, but the actual screen doesn't change.
so, essentially, you can't do anything anymore and have to terminate it.

is this a known problem with a solution?

Are you sure you posted the right log?
You were playing an avi file here and no internet stream.

    ok, now i see it.
this really doesnt look very good.

Did it ever work for you?
What if you play a single Internet Stream, defined via Config?

You have also a lot of errors, when loading the Plugins on startup.
i would suggest a clean install.

    Hi,
You should try a clean install, seems like many of your plugins causes issues here.
Rename MediaPortal folder to MediaPortal_old & do a repair of MediaPortal in "Add/Remove Programs" in Windows control panel, this will install a fresh copy of MP (then install SVN if you used one), you have to do the configuration part (use default BlueTwo as skin & BASS as player(if you use SVN)) again & then test Radio stream again.

    Regards

    thanks for the replies :)

I don't know why there would be plugin errors - this basically _is_ a clean install.
The only plugins enabled are the ones that came with the program by default.

nonetheless, I will give it a go, thanks!

edit: and no, it never worked, since this is the first thing I tried since I installed the program :)

    edit2:

instead of reinstalling immediately, I did the following
    disabled all plugins
    reverted back to default skin
switched to that BASS sound output.

the GUI seems to respond fine now after connecting to a stream :)

thanks a lot guys! keep up the great work! :D

    edit3:

ended up repairing anyway because I kept getting an error message in the plugin window.
    All seems good now.
