Streaming to TV (1 Viewer)

So I have just got a new LED LCD series C5 and all my media is on my PC's hard drive. I dont even bother with cable anymore cause I only find about 4 shows these days to be interesting so its a mix of different videos/movies in different formats saved on my PC.

I was using Samsung PC Share but it sucks big time and doesn't recognize half the formats that my old school XBMC XBOX did and thats if I can keep it connected long enough to even view the file list.

Im looking for something new to stream all my good movies to my TV ( primarily my 1080p ones ) but I cant find anything on how to get started. I heard this one was great but how do I set it up?

I have a PC hooked up to my LCD TV via HDMI, you need a Display card that has HDMI out, you can use VGA on a lot of LCD TV's aswell.
