I get terrible stuttering (with slight variations) when I try to use MediaPortal on a second Monitor. I have tried different codecs with no changes. I have one system with an Nvidia 9600GT, a second system with an ATI HD4550, and a 3rd with an ATI HD6450.</p><p></p><p>The following statements apply to all 3 systems:</p><p></p><p>1. On primary monitor there is (virtually) no stuttering or dropped frames - everything works</p><p>2. On secondary monitor most videos and TV stutter badly (33 to 50% dropped frames) in full screen mode EVR</p><p>3. On secondary monitor videos and TV work properly in window mode EVR</p><p>4. On secondary monitor videos and TV work properly in full screen VMR mode.</p><p>5. MPC-HC can play all videos properly with EVR.</p><p></p><p>My summary - there is a problem with the EVR presenter to the second monitor.</p><p></p><p>It may also have something to do with interlacing. If I force all de-interlacing off, the dropped frames problem goes away for TV (PAL) streams - unfortunately the picture is unwatchable due to the interlacing. For TV (PAL) mediaportal presents 37.5 fps (instead of 50) when the monitor is at 75Hertz.</p><p></p><p>Anyone else having this problem?</p><p></p><p>Mtp</p></blockquote><p></p>
