I have a really strange problem with TVE3:

For about 2 years I have been using Mediaportal TVE2 and a Firedtv T-ci box to recieve 25 tv channels (dvb-T) on the Faroe Islands (mostly danish and english channels) This setup has been working great but know I would like to use TVE3 instead.

Installation og configuration on the server was easy and everthing is working fine. When running Mediaportal on the server I get a nice smooth tv-picture.

BUT on my 3 other clients in the house there is a lot of stutter and jitter on 5-6 channels. All the other channels is working fine. This is really strange because except from the name there are no difference on the working channels and the channels with stutter. They are recieved in the same way and with the same Mhz. When I press "shift & !" I can see that the wmr9 is not constant on 50 fps as on the working channels. When wathing the channels with stutter/jitter the vmr9 jumps from 50 to 15 then to 35 and so on. And it is not able to show the avg fps as it normally do.

The signal strength is 98%. My network and Linksys router is working fine and I don´t normally have any speed problems here. I tried a lot different codecs. I have tried to turn off "cool & quiet" and installed "AMD Dual Core optimizer". I have all the latest hardware drivers installed on both server and clients.

I have made another setup with an Hauppauge MCE500 analog card connectet to a normal STB using the blaster function to change channels. This is working great on all clients!!! But of course the picture and sound quality is not as good with an analog card as a digital card.

I have run the MP test tool but can´t find any problems in the log. Is there any one who can help me with this strange problem??

Please let me know if you need more information about my system and which log-files you need to check.

Regards

Ulrik
