Hi,
I have an odd problem and i dont think its computer related. If I have mediaportal in fullscreen mode live tv playback and most videos stutter like hell and drop frames like mad. If I put in windowed mode (or minitv mode) it doesnt and works perfectly however its not fullscreen. Its also not just the videos but the whole user interface seems slow and has lag patches.
Running vista x64, ati 4770, evr, cyberlink 9 codecs, catalyst 9.7 on secondary monitor. Windows Media Center doesnt do that, however prefer MediaPortal
. VMR9 improves things a little but hugely. Same with keep on top option but not practical as I cant click anything else on the other screens. Its not a codec problem as even if i run the tearing test without a video it stutters like hell.
Any suggestions that dont involve making the tv primary monitor(which by the way i tried and didnt help much) would be welcome.
PS I apologise for wrong section and mods/admins are welcome to move it to the right area.
