[QUOTE="elconejito, post: 288994, member: 12592"] So I had a chance to do a quick test last night with the new TSReader. I apologize as I think this needs (at least on my part) some thorough trial and error, but I just haven't been home. I might have some time this weekend, so I'm hoping to try the new SVN or roll back to the RC1 SVN from may that some are saying has been stable. For me, this new TSReader is better while actually watching the channel/recording, but I get a crash when a new recording starts. I had several recordings setup last night, and here's what I did. Attempt #1... At about 8:43pm I got home and started to watch a recording that was still recording (TV > Recorded TV > chose the show) from 8 to 9pm an SD channel. This was fine for a few minutes (RC1 this worked, RC2 this did not) until the next recording started at 8:45pm from an HD channel. MP just froze up. I gave it a while to see if it would recover (tons of "TsReaderPlayer: OnVideoFormatChanged" messages), but it didn't so I started pushing buttons and eventually had to forcequit. I think CPU usage was up, because the fan came on (it normally doesn't). And then there are a bunch of exceptions in the log. Attempt #2... I went to recorded TV and started playing the recording that started at 845pm (in HD). This I watched no problem at all (again, RC1 was able to do this, RC2 was not) until the next recording started at 9:58pm (actually 10pm with 2min pre-record setting) on an SD channel. Same thing again. MP froze up. This time i immediately hit stop and after a minute or two it came back, but MP was all slow so I had to close it and open again. I don't remember which time (or maybe both), but TVService crashed and had to be restarted. Logs are attached. ====== @everybody - When you guys see stuttering, do you get the "TsReaderPlayer: OnVideoFormatChanged" message? or is it only continuity errors? I occasionally get continuity errors, but pretty few and I want to make sure we all have the same problem so as not to throw the devs in circles looking for one fix to multiple problems. ====== I'll try the new SVN this saturday (I'll make the time, darnit! :P) and if that doesn't do it, I'm going to roll back to that RC1 SVN.
