Hi.

Im sorry to say, there has not been very active discussion about the problem.

I got one suggestion though, that problem is this.

0002831: Add NALU support for audio streams (aac) in TsReader - MediaPortal Bugtracker

It means that there is open bug report about the case.

And one thread that might help.

https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/mediaportal-releases-315/aac-tv-91111/

Br,

Hi!

Are you sure that ticket 2831 actually is the same? Is there any evidence in the not working ts streams that the AAC audio is NALU? I find this kind of unrealistic because all other channels with AAC (approx 45) from the same provider works perfect. Why should they use NALU for two channels only? Anyway, is worth a try :) , but I guess that the issue won't be resolved in 1.2, or am I wrong?

I don't have access the the thread you are linking to, do I need to apply to get that?

Thanks for all the help so far. I really hope that a solution will be found.

Regards,
PK

No, I accidentally copied wrong link. Im on mobile now, but i'll edit the post. Nalu case was suggested by one of team-members and I did not really thought about it.

Anyway I have applied a test version of software that is used by tv-stations to produce .ts stream. So lets see what I can dig out of that disney stream.

If it turns out that stream is fine, then I rise up my hands, if not than maybe monogram dev should be contacted with example file to see if he can fix it.

    Br,

    Br,

Thanks, I didn't mean to judge your thoughts on this issue, I really appreciate your dedication and help!! Sorry for expressing myself kind of harsh, that was not my intention. I'm looking forward to your analyses of the ts stream with the productions software. Could be a good idea to contact the MONOGRAM dev, maybe he can give his thought on what could be wrong.

Both the TVnorge and disney playhouse stream has audio errors. The TVnorge one has English dialogue so it could be easier to hear/see the stuttering in that file, for a not Norwegian (Scandinavian) speaking person.
