Stuttering tv after wake from hibernate/sleep (1 Viewer)

Hello I have a rather annoying problem:
- tv is stuttering when I wake MP from hibernate/sleep. I have turned "restart mp on wake" on in the configuration, but that does not solve the problem. I have to reboot to get it right. I think it is the graphiccard (Geforce 8300) that somehow hangs, but I'm not sure...

Is there some "system-refresh" commands that I can use/run when I wake MP from hibernate/sleep?

I'd check that the refresh rate of the screen is correct after wake-up, then maybe try changing the refresh rate or the screen resolution (which might 'refresh' the video card/drivers).

Is it just TV, or do other videos (or recorded TV) stutter as well ?

What are your system specs ?

It is just tv (especially HD channels). Video/movie does not stutter...

So it looks like it's tuner\network\TV-server related.

Try restarting (disable - enable) the tuner cards and the network adaptor in device manager - does it fix the stutter ?

Also there is an option in TV-server to restart it on resume from sleep - try that too. (I think this will restart the tuner cards as well).

I had the same problem with a Gigabyte 690G based board. Coming back from sleep would never get dxva back again. I tried many different video drivers, but it made no difference.

There's an option in the BIOS (I assume also on Nvidia based solutions), that lets you set which video adapter to initialize first. The options were PCI, PCIe, or onboard. Mine was set to onboard, since that's all the system had. I changed it to initialize PCIe first, and my problem went away.

Video now plays as fluid after sleep as it did before sleep. I did not add any PCIe card, just changed the setting in the BIOS.
