subtitles not showing (1 Viewer)

hi. im using the streamedmp skin and subtitles wont show. is there something i miss ? it shows perfect if i play the mkv file in media player classic. i checked the subtitles menu when inside a movie and there is a blue dot in the use subtitles. so i really dont get it. im not sure if its a skin thinggy or a setting i miss... anyone who can tell me ?

i also tried the mediastream by pilehaven. same thiing there.

I have the same problem. For foreign movies in the mkv container I have to use another media player for the subtitles.

this was no tvseries problem. i found a salution with help in the irc channel of mediaportal.
if other have same problem with mkv files heres what i did.
i choose NO in the hali media splitter for autoload vsfilter. and then in mediaportal configuration -> Videos -> post processing ad DirectVobSub (not auto-loading version)

and then they worked. remember also to enable subtitles in mediaportal configuration -> videos -> Subtitles and then enable it there.
it works for xvid and mkv files for me now.

Putting vsfilter to postpocessing is not very wise, becouse this will kill DXVA for all videos...
