I am experimenting with MP1 for a year now. While using de RC builds and sometimes a SVN build, I found out about alot of problems with my hardware, drivers in combination with MediaPortal.
Yesterday I deinstalled RC2 and installed RC3 after upgrading all drivers. I added some plugins or programs to overcome some of the problems I found earlier this year. I kept getting problems with restarting MP and the TV service. Even the extra program MPresumehandler didn't solve my problems. Then I thougt... why did I ever turned the restart of MP and reinitialize of the TV cards on?? I couln't remember.. had to do something with the drivers I thougt.
So, I didn't turn these options on in my new installation, didn't install anything extra except for the usual codecs... and... I WORKS BEAUTIFULLY!
To standby in 3 seconds... out of standby in 7 seconds... and then.. still, everything works!
MP is great! Looking forward to a V1 release!
