From my point of view, at least, if you're using MP primarily without a remote, you're not really using it for the purpose it was designed for; and, if you use MP for a purpose other than what it is aiming to accomplish, you might come up short-handed. Just as with anything, MediaPortal will devolve into an unusable hunk of complexity if the developers try to design it for everything.</blockquote>
