MediaPortal Version: 1.2.1.0 MediaPortal Skin: PureVision HD Dear community, I have a question concerning the parsing of video titles. If I understand correctly, the lookup of video metadata is made of 2 steps:

Parse path and name of a file and find the video title
Request metadata from a database, e.g. IMDB
The first step doesn't work for my video collection because I have a folder structure that is not quite common. Here are a few examples: My Videos\Fictional\English\Film Series\Lord of the Rings\DVD\[Warner - Z5 Y15527] The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)\DVD 1\Side A\VIDEO_TS My Videos\Fictional\English\Feature Films\-\DVD\[Warner - Z5 12648] Falling Down (1999)\DVD 1\VIDEO_TS My Videos\Fictional\German\Feature Films\-\TV\[2011-08-07 einsfestival] Berlin Calling\Berlin Calling.ts When I update the video database, most of my videos are called "DVD 1" or similar. Thus I have to edit each video entry manually (which is quite uncomfortable, of course). Now my question: Can I customize the movie name parsing somehow? The MPTV Series plugin offers good capabilities for custom folder structures (e.g. by supporting variables for folder levels and regular expressions). Can I use something like this for "My Movies"?
