Hey everyone,
I've started this thread for a few reasons.
1. To have a place for people to get help setting up their Set Top Box with the MCE Replacement Plugin.
2. To gather information and IR Commands for all the different Set Top Boxes people are using with the MCE Replacement Plugin.
3. To have a place where people can check if their Set Top Box is already supported by the MCE Replacement Plugin.
So if you've got a Set Top Box working with the plugin please post the name of the box and attach your zipped up .IR files and the ExternalChannelConfig?.xml file from your "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MediaPortal MCE Replacement Plugin" folder.
That way I can add support for your set top box to the Quick Setup List in the plugin, enabling other users to set up the plugin quickly, easily and accurately.
Or, If you are having trouble getting your set top box working then post about that as well! That way another user who has the same STB can give you some advice or even the IR codes required to get it working.
If you're struggling to get your STB working I recommend you check out RemoteCentral.com to see if you can download codes for it.
Thanks everyone,
