    Hey everyone,

I've started this thread for a few reasons.

    1. To have a place for people to get help setting up their Set Top Box with the MCE Replacement Plugin.

    2. To gather information and IR Commands for all the different Set Top Boxes people are using with the MCE Replacement Plugin.

    3. To have a place where people can check if their Set Top Box is already supported by the MCE Replacement Plugin.

So if you've got a Set Top Box working with the plugin please post the name of the box and attach your zipped up .IR files and the ExternalChannelConfig?.xml file from your "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MediaPortal MCE Replacement Plugin" folder.

That way I can add support for your set top box to the Quick Setup List in the plugin, enabling other users to set up the plugin quickly, easily and accurately.

Or, If you are having trouble getting your set top box working then post about that as well! That way another user who has the same STB can give you some advice or even the IR codes required to get it working.

If you're struggling to get your STB working I recommend you check out RemoteCentral.com to see if you can download codes for it.

    Thanks everyone,

Receiver: Microsoft MCE 1.0A Model 1040

Works with the version in the download section and MP 0.2.2, but haven't been able to get it to work with newer test version and SVN yet. I'll try again this week.

I have used the IR codes for Nokia 9800s on my SatBox 9802S. All digits works except "4". When trying to change to channel 4, it changes to channel 44.

When browsing the contents of the files in the STB dir, 0.ir to 9.ir, i see that 4.ir is longer/bigger.

When trying the learn funksjon, it records the signal, but it does not work when using the testbutton. How can i get a new 4.ir that works or how can i i convert the learned code into the same format as the files in the STB directory.

I'll try to fix that for you and update the set top box definitions in the next release. I'll also post a replace code here if I get one so you can just overwrite it.

    Thanks for the info.

    Cheers,

Where did you get the definition for SA Explorer 3250? I didn't see it in the list when I configured it inside of MediaPortal's plugin config page. Also, mine is the HD version. I've tried to reprogram the Windows MCE Remote IR blaster to no avail. It seems to "learn" the IR code, but it doesn't make the STB do anything, although the LED illuminates.

    IR Codes for ADB 3100

    Hi,

I finally figured out how to do the learning remote thing. Attached are the codes for ADB 3100 STB which is used in Israel by Yes satellite TV.

Thanks a lot for a great plug-in and I hope you'll include the codes in your future releases.
