hi,
i did a forum search but didn't find a thread with an information. If there are
some please point me to them.
I am trying to use Mediaportal on my HTPC which is a VISTA 64bit system.
I was able to install Mediaportal but now i can't start it. Both, the medaportal
and the configuration, stop with the VISTA message "searching online for a
solution"
First i thought about a problem with 64bit system, but after searching the
forum and finding people using Mediaportal on 64bit systems i was searching
more.
I have a NVIDIA 8600 GTS graphiccard and the newest NVIDIA beta drivers in
use. So my system uses DirectX 10 and because of all these informations in the
forum about Mediaportal uses DirectX 9 i think maybe my problem is related to
this point.
So my question : is Medaiportal compatible to DirectX 10 or ist DirectX 10 also
DirectX 9 or can i install both Directx versions ?
you see i am pretty new to pc-stuff. I learned much in last years but the DirectX
issue is new to me
