Svt hd dvb-t (1 Viewer)

I'm new and maybe there is an answer to this, i haven't found it though

I've installed latest mediaportal, downloaded ffdshow, hala media splitter .... I can play all tv channels, look at mkv files and so on, BUT SVT HD just gives me sound and no picture.

Recorded SVT HD and in VLC i can see the picture, but with lot of loss of video or like you are setting to pause and then play and so on (the audio is OK though)


I'm using XP. See the config in the attached pictures.

Anyone got this working?

That sound like the graphics chip is not upto it, can you give some hardware specs of your pc.

I've got SVT HD working since the first tests some year back or so. You may want to try another codec instead of ffdshow. I've used both PowerDVD h264 and CoreAVC h264 codecs. Both of them works nicely, but PDVD has become my choice.

It may be that VLC use it's own codec and that's why you can view recorded material.

Ok now nex problem, if i want to burn a dvd of a recorded show from SVT HD, what to use?

Just a final remark on the codec. I think it should even work with the trial version of PDVD, since it is not the program you want but the codec.

Regarding the burning of DVD, a quick google gave me How to burn a .ts file for view on dvd
