the problem is, its either audio over analog OR spdif pass-throught.my dream would be that some soundcard/driver would allow to output AC3/DTS over SPDIF and at the same time on the analog stereo outlet.....an option inside MediaPortal to change the audiocodec setting (i.e. MPA) from analog output to spdif passthrought would surely be nice.i would like to have that too.....one way around the whole thing is to use HDMI to connect the PC with the TV-Set.then you have audio from the TV-Set speakers.these TV's have (most of the time) an spdif-out which you then connect with your DD-receiver.
