Switch between ClassicHome and BasicHome screens and jump direct to home (1 Viewer)

Users with the MCE remote already can use the following action by default.

For keyboard users the action is not yet assigned to any keyboard button by default, but you can do it for yourself:

1. open MPconfig
2. go to General > Keys and Sounds
3. open Global Actions
4. assign the action "ACTION_SWITCH_HOME" to any button (for example "H")
   
5. Now you can jump straight to home screen, or switch between Classic and Basic home screen.

thanks for this tipp! Something I did search for quite some time....


Having a Hauppauge 45 button remote, you can do following:

1. open MPconfig
2. go to Remote -> Hauppauge -> Mapping
3. Select the "Home" button settings
4. Add a new condition with these settings:
   Layer: all
   Condition: Window -> Home
   Action: Action -> Switch Home
5. Move the condition Up over "No condition"
6. Now you can switch between Classic and Basic Home, while still being able to jump directly to home
