Switch from sagetv (1 Viewer)

I am considering a move from sagetv. I was wondering the following.


1. Conflict resolution: It is important to me to make sure that I can view any conflicts and deal with them. Also to have conflicts solved automatically by Myth. How effective is the conflict resolution?

2. Ability to record by genre or actor. This is a cool feature to which I have become accustomed. I love horror movies and old movies with particular stars. Does myth have the ability to record in this manner?

You keep saying Myth... but this is Mediaportal.

1. I assume you are talking about show conflicts. Currently in MP 0.2.1.0 this works very well. I know the guys are working on this for the new tv engine right now and should be in the SVN builds very soon (Days I think)

2. I know you can sort by genre in 0.2.1.0 but don't know if that has been added to the TV server yet. As for actor, I don't know about this one.... Maybe someone could help me out.
