MediaPortal was working just great until i made the move.. actually, i've had quite alot of trouble with vista x64 and Nvidia drivers BSOD stuff.. </p><p></p><p>Anoways, the problem with mediaportal in Vista is</p><p></p><p>1. Volume sticking @ certain point, which is talked about in another thread, so wont chat about it here..</p><p></p><p>2. Power Management.</p><p></p><p>With my XP setup, i had the monitor turn off on the desktop after on idle for 10min and if Mediaportal was on idel in fullscreen in main menu (or just not in full screen video) off in 1min.. but if i was watching TV or so on, it wont turn my monitor to sleep.. which was great..</p><p></p><p>In vista x64, i have the default setup with high performance, so monitor turns off in 20min.. now with Media portal, the power management does whats it's ment to in the main menu and so on (with turning off the monitor in 1min), but while watching TV or Video, after 20min, my monitor goes to sleep, and the sound keeps on playing, i just have to push some buttons on the remote to get it back up and viewing..</p><p></p><p>Is this a bug with Nvidia Drivers/Vista/Mediaportal.. i have no idea, it's just becoming really annoying</p></blockquote><p></p>
