Firstly MP is great, i think the devs are doing a good job. I know this may have been asked for in the past but is there a way to switch off the screen from the hauppauge remote (not the mce one)?
I ask because i need the computer on all the time and use an lcd monitor for output so the monitor doesnt have a remote anyway.
i've come across a program called 'poweroff' and have setup my irremote.ini to run it with a command line option to switch the monitor on and off from within windows mce. it would be great if mp could allow some more controll over the remote mappings so i could applications directly from the remote.
Or maybe if you could include switching off the monitor as a type of standby callable by the remote. i know theres an option which will time out the monitor but i would like an immediate switch off from the remote
