switch to My Music on cd load? (1 Viewer)

hopefully a easy question...I want "my music" or "current playlist" to load when i insert an audio CD. Is this possible? I already have it set to play automatically, but MP doesnt switch modes i.e. i'm watching TV and i insert a disc. MP just turns off the TV signal and replaces it with the CD audio and a visualisation. I would prefer to go to the list of track on the disk.

this is an old thread

To be honest, i never really followed it up. My HTPC has been in various states of upgrade/repair over the past few months, so it has been low on the list of things to look at.
