Hi Guys,

Currently using MP RC1.0.0.0 and have got it setup for channels (finally) but if I'm watching something on BBC HD and choose a SD channel (like ITV), MP completly locks up and I have to reset the HTPC.

Is there something I'm missing??

Thanks in advance.

    Which codecs are you using.

PowerDVD8 trial might solve this, also maybe using ffdshow as audio codec as thats pretty stable and covers a wide format.

I've got Powerdvd 8 Ultra installed on the system. Just looked at the configuration settings and under "Television, the MPEG-2 Video decoder is currently set to "MPV Decoder Filter". Should I change this to powerdvd?? Will it make that much of a difference (sorry, only been testing this for a few hours and there are no definitive guides on how to set this up properly).

    Thanks for your help.

Thanks for that. I changed it over and it didn't crash when I changed from BBC HD to another channel so thats a good sign.....Now if only I could get the epg data to populate. Its abit hit and miss with information. Is there something I should be doing here??
