Syncing hertz to media source (1 Viewer)

Hello,

i was wondering if there's any way in mediaportal to auto-switch the display's hertz by the media source fps? By example if i play a video at 24 fps i would like it to switch to 24hz and so on, so i can use the ability of my display to properly manage 1080p@24; because if i keep it at 24 hertz when i play 25 fps material i got some serious audio desynch problems. Thank you for your help

I am having the same issue. So if there is a way for automatic refresh rate switching that could be solve the problem..

There is/was a plugin for this - I haven't used it and can't comment on its current status.
From memory it was called "videomodeswitcher" or something like that - perhaps it's in the downloads plugins section?

Such feature isn't possible with MP1 (or it would require a quite huge changes in the skinning engine). So better to wait for MPII.
