hi,

i have prollems with my TT budget dvb-c card:

the installation was ok. but watching livetv brings choppy picture. sometimes the liveTV picture stops (for a second) and then it goes on.

on RTL Television channel (germany) after some minutes of watching liveTV the live-piture begins to stutter but it does not stop stuttering. after i press ALT+RETURN the picture is ok again.

i hope somebody can help me .....

We are going to need alot more information.

Since you have not used the template it makes it more difficult.
Please provide as much information as possible examples here...

    1. System Specs
    2. MPEG-2 Codecs?
    3. Since what MP version does this occur?
    4. Does it happen on FTA channels?
    5. What if you run fullscreen with always on top enabled?
    6. TV & Video Card driver revisions
    7. CPU % whilst stuttering
    8. EPG turned on?
    9. Occurs with Timeshifting off or on or both?

    hi,

what i didn´t write in my first post is that MP also losts the signal after some time (it begins with choppy livestream and ends with no signal).

    1. System Specs
    cpu: celeron 2.0 ghz
    memory: 1 gb RAM
    mainboard: GA-8ig1000MK

    2. MPEG-2 Codecs?
Intervideo (for technotrend and for Hauppauge)
    powerdvd
    cyberlink
    nvidia

    3. Since what MP version does this occur?

    RC3

    4. Does it happen on FTA channels?

    5. What if you run fullscreen with always on top enabled?

    the same problems

    6. TV & Video Card driver revisions

    Technotrend: BDA drivers (4.4.10.12)
    PVR150: 2.0.35.23258

    AEOLUS geforce 6600: 8.1.9.8

    7. CPU % whilst stuttering

    66%

    8. EPG turned on?

with EPG on or off: the same problems

    9. Occurs with Timeshifting off or on or both?

timeshifting on and off: the same problems

I found out that my trick with ALT+RETURN does not work with the neweset SVN (5.04.06) anymore. here MP does not react anymore. i have to kill the task. only in the mytv screen where livetv runs on the right i can press STOP on my remote and then the livetv is ok again (this works also in the newest SVN)

If you clean install RC2 does the problem occur?

    What about FTA channels?
What version of Windows are you on?
Did you run start.bat from the SVN build to register the latest mpsa.ax filter ?

BTW: There are updated Nvidia drivers.

Same for me. Go back to RC2 [from RC3] -- no CVS and my technotrend TT budget DVB-S card works fine.
