Teletext Option (1 Viewer)

I guys, maybe there are already some solution in the forum somewhere, but I can't find it.

What I would like to know is how to setup the teletext properly, I can receive teletext in mediaprotal no problem, but there is a black background cover the tv picture, is it something to do with video overlay issues?

That's normal for teletext. Most tv's with teletext do have a button to switch between a black background and a transparent background. I haven't seen that feature implemented yet in MP.

damn, i was hoping for the teletext to work in mp so I can setup a media centre for my parents

I can't see your point here, because with a black background text is a lot more readable. Only thing what I can imagine is teletext subtitles.

I would guess teletext subtitles was the case. Some work is being done on DVB subtitles, if they are available in your area, but nothing is final at the moment.
