Theater 650 pro+Vista (1 Viewer)

ok here is my question. I recently got this card from NCIX in canada. It was a light package with no software(It's actually a saphire card but it's the same chipset/drivers as ati) so my question is this (since my light package did not came with software wich i thought would be np since i figured the MC in vista ultimate could do everytihg) can Media portal be used to record from the external A/V box that came with my card(not sure why it was included with the light package since it comes with no software) anyways anyone know if this works either in Vista MC or with MediaPortal?
