I usually use Avallanche Mod for Avallonis and I don't have that problem. I'm using latest MovPic and MPTV. Perhaps a caching issue? Sometimes when my media center is under heavy load, all the cover and at stuff is a little confused.

Try to watch a movie in Moving Pictures, and then immediately switch to the home screen (by pressing H). And then to come and see the show. And while watching the press pause or cause OSD information.

For TVSeries - TVSeries.xml & TVSeries.Actors.xml
MovingPictures - movingpictures.xml (#MovingPictures.Backdrop)
