I have been using this for months now works GREAT! I got a microsoft bluethooh 6000 keyboard it is small and thin the great thing is it has two pecies the main keyboard and a keypad. Using KeyTweak I remapped the keypad to do everything i need. If your computer does not have bluethooth just get a bluethooth doogle from rocketfish. NO IR needed and you dont even have to point it at and thing. Im using it about 15 to 20 feet away no problems. Add a bluethooh mouse and you are set.
