[QUOTE="m.standish, post: 97123, member: 22329"] Im trying to get the thumbnails folder size down so i can fit that & my DBs in my 256mb ram drive but its creating unnesecery thumnails I have an artists & a compilations folder and Ive found that when i update the DB with one of the artists folders I get four thumbs; album\ Large and small , artist\ Large and Small, perfect! If i update a compilation folder i get about 80; in the album\ folder its creating A large and a small thumb for each track in the album, so for a 20 track album ive got 40x identicle large images of the album and 40 small!!! I would like to get the same as the artists where i have just a large & small for the album, how do i do this? Im not bothered about the artist thumb for any of the compilations so ill just delete these when it finds them as they bear no resemblence to the artist, just the album cover. but the album cover is really throwing me. Ive tried playing with the options in the update database page but i cant seem to get it to recognise a folder as one album, just all the tracks it contains seperate Im sure i had this problem before and i managed to work it out but for the life of me i cant now. Has something changed with the way it imports in the newer V?? Im running latest SVN album tracks are as x:\albums\<artist>\<year> - <title>\<trackno.> - <artist> - <track>.mp3 compilations are x:\compilations\<title> - <year>\<trackno.> - <artist> - <track>.mp3 And are all fully id3 tagged Any guides on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated!!
