Hi...

I just installed a fresh new mediaportal system on a XP SP2 up to date, following the guides (only ffdshow, haali and vsfilter). Everything works fine, but when a Video is being played, there's no GUI interaction. I mean, the green bar that pops up above the image, reamains untouchable. I guess that green bar means the length of the video, and if i click on it, i could go to that time in the video. It is like ffdshow is above mediaportal on some way.

Also, the little window on the left that pops up to let me pause the movie, doesn't pop anymore.

But the worst thing is that when i want to play forward the movie to a certain time using the 'right' arrow key of my keyboard, it only get me to +5 or +10 or +15 minutes, but always from the begginig of the video. I know is a little weird to understand... the video always go to the elapsed time i want from 0:00 (if i click on +5, the video goes to 0:05, and if later i press +10, it returns to 0:00 and then take me to 0:10, not from 0:05 to 0:15...)

I don't know waht is happening with my mediaportal, but i'm pretty sure there's nothing but my nvidia drivers installed on it apart from the ffdshow, haali and vsfilter.

Thanx in advance.

    EDIT:

Ok... on the last post i was talking about the scroll bars, not the whole GUI of mediaportal. I just solved it cliking on the "Special Mouse actions"... so right now that's SOLVED.

Fastfoward, forward, skip... a liitle disaster.

If i want to skip +10 seconds from any point, it skips +10 seconds always from the beggining, no matter the position the video is, bringing me again to same point. So the farest i can get from the 0:00 is 15 minutes. It's like the variable in charge of the Time doesn't memorize the actual time... like if any skip order initializes the variable again.

And the scrollbar doesn't reflects the time, just says 0:00 from every click i do in the scrollbar. Then it begins to count the time passing from my click (if i clik on minute 10, the movie goes there, but the time on the scrollbar says 0:00... 0:01... so on)

I'm using the last ffdshow codec for video, and i'm sure about it becouse i have the OSD of the ffdshow on top of the video, where i can see the current playing time and the movie lenght. Mediaportal still refuses to show that on the timebar. The fastfoward do nothing else than moving the frames on the ffdshow OSD, but without any image on screen...

is there any way to pass keystrokes to ffdshow from mediaportal? is not an elegant idea but could work... at least i could rewind or fastfoward the video...

Hope someone knows what the hell i'm talking here, becouse it's too weird to find a solution on my own...

    Thanx in advance
