The MP power scheduler works like this:

You have to select under myTV some broadcasts for recording. When power scheduler is activated it checks if you are in the MP home screen. If so he will shut down the PC after the configured Idle time. The PC will be waked up the configured amount of minutes before the recording will start. That's it
