The system woke up from sleep normally from other applications aka. TTHC and wol. Powerscheduler is disabled, never been enabled.

I think there is a misunderstanding here. MP/TV Server will not automatically wake from sleep *even for scheduled recordings* unless you configure Powerscheduler or some other TV Server power management plugin to make the system wake.

I came to the same conclusion end enabled powerscheduler but pc still won't wake up. Do I need to schedule all (every) timer recordings also in powerscheduler? Is it enough to leave it on default settings?

It should be enough to put a checkmark by "Wakeup server for various wakeup events". See the Wiki page for more details. A screenshot of my settings is attached.

I read all about powersheduler on the wiki and after whole day of testing with different variations my pc won't wake up from sleep or hybernation. Mediaportal just won't do it! I gave up and go to other htpc software.
