Sometime after resuming from standby, I went to watch TV and just kept getting an error about being unable to play the .tsbuffer file. I checked with TVServer config and Manual Control in that was able to start OK, so it must have been a problem with TSReader.

I closed and restarted MP and it was OK after that.

There seems to be a player/graph building problem - from the MediaPortal.log :

Please test without any 3rd party plugins being used - probably some plugin causes the DirectShow related code to be run in wrong thread.

Thanks, will do. I should mention that until today it has been working OK as far as I know. I can't be certain as sometimes I close MP to play a game and then shutdown and then start MP after resuming but I'm sure there must have been plenty of times when I've shutdown with MP still running.

Also, I installed PS++ 1.2.3.4 yesterday after just using the default PS since setting up MP on this system, so that might be relevant. I haven't added/deleted any other plugins recently, so that seems the most likely candidate considering that this problem's only just occurred. I'll see if I can recreate the problem and then try uninstalling PS++ and try again.[DOUBLEPOST=1347982822][/DOUBLEPOST]
Are you able to play normal videos after resume?

I think so but I'll check that.

I just tested without changing anything by putting it in standby for about 4 minutes and it worked fine after that (videos too) so perhaps it only happens after being in standby for a long time. I'll test again tomorrow morning after it's been in standby overnight.

I note that it didn't prompt me for my password on resuming this time, which it has been doing even though it's set not to in the Power Options, which makes me think that something different happens when it's been in standby for longer.

Hmmm, sounds like windows itself was throwing a wobbler if it was reverting to some previous state.

I was thinking of using Group Policy to force it to disabled to see if that helped (shouldn't really make any difference as it's already set to disabled) but it seems to have started behaving itself now.

I don't think it asked me for my password this morning either (I was sleepy and forgot I was meant to be checking) and when I tried TV that worked fine (albeit about an hour after resuming), so I guess I'll just keep an eye on it for now.
