I grabbed the logs after this error occurred, I have noticed a couple of time where it popup the message "timeshifting stopped by tvserver", I usually see this if a scheduled program has started but in this case there is nothing scheduled when it stops. I am able to go back to the guide and select the program with no issue. I currently do not know how to reproduce this error.

So you were watching "DIY +", and after about 2.5 minutes it stopped timeshifting?
This is at about 19:46, your local time.

PS: it helps to include these details so I don't have to confirm. ;)

If that is the case, it looks like the connection between your server and client seems like it may have broken:
    2012-09-17 19:44:01.640924 [(26)]: card: tuned user: HTPC subchannel: 0

    2012-09-17 19:46:21.222021 [HeartBeatMonitor(11)]: Controller: StopTimeShifting 3

From the logs, It isn't clear to me what might be causing this. There is one possible cryptic clue:
"9/17/2012 7:46:20 PM";"Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-General";"(0)";"Information";"The description for Event ID '1' in Source 'Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-General' cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display the message, or you may not have permission to access them. The following information is part of the event:'2012-09-17T23:46:20.500000000Z', '2012-09-17T23:44:18.501433400Z'";"1"

What kind of networking do you use - wireless or wired?
    Do you use firewalls?
Do you have your server configured with a static IP address?

    Regards,

My HTPC is connected to the network with a wired connection with a static IP address. I have the Windows 7 firewall turned on, and I only have a single seat installation currently setup, server and client are both on this PC. Sorry I meant to post the time error occurred but got distracted.
