How can I change the buttons in basic home?
You will need to wait for the official basic home editor, or you can edit basichome.xml manually
How can I change the buttons in extended home?
You can run TitanEdit.exe located in the MediaPortal program files directory.
How can I get rid of the sub menus on basic home?
This option to add/remove/edit sub menus will be added when the basic home editor is made available
How can I change My Videos button to Moving Pictures/My Films in basic home?
How can I get recently added movies and tv series to show in basic home?
This feature requires the latest media handler plugin and titan extended to be installed.
If you do not have this plugin you can install it using the MPEI
Start -> Team Mediaportal -> Mediaportal -> MPEI -> Choose to install latest media handler and titan extended
What about recently added music/pictures/recordings?
This option is not available yet in basic home yet. It will be added in a future update.
Can I have current weather conditions on the home screen?
There is no official support for this yet, but click here for a mod you can use for basic home.
