    Titanium Extended Theme

    As many people like the Titanius Skin from MP1, I decided to implement a new version into MP2 with a visual appearance close to MP1 and the benefits from MP2 as the new group menu model.

    Here a screenshot of the new MenuScreen. On the top you can see the group menu, while the corresponding Menu Tiles can be found in the bottom. The logic is close to the Windows Ribbon Design, allowing faster access. When you got used to the MP1 menus, give it a try and you will see the benefits soon.

    Preview Movie (not from latest version):

    Remarks:
    • The skin is optimized for keybooard and remote usage, there can be problems with mouse

    Download: Version 0.7 (07.02.2016)
    • The Skin only works with MP2 weekly's or official releases after 07.02.2016, please download it here WEEKLY_07022016
    • Extract the *.z7 package into .../Program Files (x86)/MediaPortal2/Client/Plugins/
    • Start Mediaportal 2 and go to settings -> Appearance -> Skin (selection necessary) and change the theme to "Titanium Extended" from the list
    Download: Version 0.8 (02.04.2016)
    • The Skin only works with MP2 after 28.03.2016, means Spring Release '16 versions
    • Extract the *.z7 package into .../Program Files (x86)/MediaPortal2/Client/Plugins/
    • Start Mediaportal 2 and go to settings -> Appearance -> Skin (selection necessary) and change the theme to "Titanium Extended" from the list

    In the ListView the size can be selected "Small, Medium, Large". I used the settings with regard to movie poster like following
    • Small: No Poster --> 100% text list, many user wanted this
    • Medium: Small poster size
    • Large: Large poster size
    The text color indicates the watched state:
    • Blue: Unwatched
    • White: Watched

    As reference MP2 Titanius (Old):

    Show System Specs
    Should be doable with:
    {Binding Rating, Converter={StaticResource StringFormatConverter}, ConverterParameter=F2}
    or
    <Binding Path="Rating" Converter="{StaticResource StringFormatConverter}" ConverterParameter="{}{0:F2}"/>
    (didn't check it for correct property names, only copied some examples)

    Finally managed to show only for cover views the movie name and star rating in the footer. I had to create new ControlTemplates, but they will also work for series, videos and other MI :)

    Open Point: Main Menu for Cover View needs to be moved to the top in order to reach it by remote.

    Have you tried with different fonts for the text?

    Which text do you mean? There is currently only one font embedded. I don't know how to register new fonts in MPF :)

    I mainly thougth of the movie descriptions and details. All look great but I think a different font could make it look even better.
