The blue bar is something that belongs to the skin as all other panels have it too. it's designed to show information.That being said, there need to be some changes as the group information has the wrong color and placement. The most logical place for the channel groups is now left under in my opinion. I know it's not exactly you where asking for, but I think it looks atleast better than how it was.
