9 hours is a long time for a driver, especially if you're using the tuner and CAM a lot.
If I was trying to resolve the problem then I would be trying to find out the smallest "thing" that I could do that would make the problem go away. That would give me more specific information about the cause. For example, my first step would be to try removing and reinserting the subscription card. If that resolved the problem then it is very likely a CAM fault. If it didn't help I'd try the subscription card in my STB to ensure my subscription is updated. After that, I'd try reinserting the CAM... using the tuner in other applications... different drivers... re-seat the card... The list goes on - I'm sure you know how it goes.
