When I transfer something to it and it has to write something it almost sounds like my old Maxtor (as in a lot of crackle and pop). I read that samsung drives are also supposed to be quite noisefree, sadly haven't had time to try one out yet, still trying to get money to spend on a dualcore cpu.</p></blockquote><p></p>
