Too codec pack or not to codec pack (1 Viewer)

Hey guys just wondering what you think is the best codec pack to use?

If you use any at all? I have found depending on what codec pack i use i get different glitches/errors with mp..

The best i have found is the the Shark007 codec pack. Seems to be the most reliable for me..


What about you guys, what do u use or find the best?

Will try that. Thanks. Have working Shark set-up, but sometimes no DXVA support.
Currently using LAV codecs for everything from latest Shark release. Seems to be working fine.

Ive just rebuilt my mediaportal system and started using the LAV filters (even went as far as removing most of the built in codecs) and for the first time my system is running absolutely perfectly.

Should any configuration be done into LAV?

I have an ATI videocard so hopefully this will work fine. I've good experience with PDVD codecs though
The rest of the system consists of x32 Windows 7 only performing MP Client.
