[no Bug] too many changes for minor releases (1 Viewer)

Hello Mediaportal-Development-Team,

i see it in a different way, that many times the whole plugins and skins are need changes by an new minor release of mediaportal. Many plugin devs have not the time or need a lot of time by changing the source to function with the new versions of mediaportal. In the past it was possible the sometimes plugins have function too, even the dev have no changes on the source because the code is not relevant for the changes.
With the new version-check this is not possible, even if would go.

Changes like default-skins-folders are good for major-releases, but not for minors.

What you think about it?

And i hope response from the Dev-Team too?

This is a major release. (1.1 -> 1.2).

Would you prefer that we don't work on improving MediaPortal just so that nothing changes? No-one is forcing you to update if you are happy with 1.1.3.
